Ellaroo Ring Sling
100% Organic Cotton
One size - Newborn to Toddler
This lightly padded baby sling is great for newborns and nursing mums, and it carries heavy toddlers exceptionally well.
There are two padded side seams which are independently adjustable through lightweight brushed aluminium rings and an open tail which can used for sun and nursing cover, and as a handy cloth. The sling is designed to cup the shoulder and spread naturally over the back, keeping the baby secure and close to the centre of gravity.

FAQ:
Q: How big a child can I carry in an Ellaroo baby carrier?
A: We suggest a weight limit of 16 kg for all our carriers because most parents find that children heavier than 16 kg are difficult to carry for long periods in any sort of carrier. However, there are many parents who continue to carry much larger children, though often for shorter periods. All Ellaroo baby carriers have been tested to 46 kg with no signs of stress.
Q: What size carrier should I order?
A: The Mei Tai Deluxe and Mei Hip come in one size and fit up to a 48" (122cm) waist size. The Ring Sling comes in a medium size as standard which suits most people. Very petite people (less than 5'2" [158cm] and 46 kg) may use a small. Larger mums and dads (e.g. size 20 and above) may need to use a large. The large and small can be special ordered.
Q: What kind of fabrics are used?
A: All these Ellaroo products are made with 100% organic cotton dyed with non-toxic eco dyes. The padding in the slings is allergy-free fibre from recycled PET.
Q: What kind of carrier is easiest for nursing?
A: Most people find the Ring Sling easy for nursing as it allows the baby to be held in virtually any position and provides excellent coverage. The Mei Tai can work well for nursing an older child with good head control, but doesn't provide as much coverage. The Mei Hip can also work well for an older child with good head control, but, since the baby is carried on one hip, nursing from the opposite breast can be difficult. Particularly large-breasted women tend to have more difficulty nursing in the Mei Tai and Mei Hip and usually find a Ring Sling somewhat easier because it's generally quicker to get the baby into a low, reclined position.
Q: What kind of carrier is most versatile in terms of age of baby and carrying positions?
A: All Ellaroo baby carriers except the Mei Hip are suitable for babies from infancy to ‘toddlerhood’. As far as carrying positions go, Ring Slings are the most versatile, allowing the wearer to carry the baby on the front or hip or even on the back. The baby can be reclined, semi-reclined, or completely upright, facing sideways, in towards the wearer or looking outwards. The Mei Tai is primarily used for carrying the baby upright facing towards the wearer on the front or back (though the Mei Tai can be used as a hip carrier as well), and the Mei Hip is designed to hold the baby upright on the wearer's hip.
Q: Can I wash my sling?
A: Yes. We suggest washing all Ellaroo baby carriers in cold water by hand or in the gentle cycle of the washing machine and hanging them dry.
