ANTI-BACTERIAL & ANTI-INFLAMMATORY HONEY AND SANDALWOOD!

WOUND CARE

It is widely known and documented that certain varieties of honey have potent anti-bacterial activity and are very efficient in clearing infection in wounds. Honey also has an anti-inflammatory action, which can reduce swelling and pain, lead to better circulation and improve the healing process.

Australian Sandalwood oil demonstrates strong anti-microbial efficacy and studies have shown it to be 25 times greater than Tea Tree oil in relation to the bacteriostatic effect against the Staphylococcus aureus organism, a common cause of minor wound infections. Australian Sandalwood oil also has very high anti-inflammatory properties attributed to its high levels of a-bisabolol and b-santalene factors, which are known to be counter-inflammatory agents.

B-NATURALS MEDICATED HONEY is a unique natural product that has beneficial healing properties for use on most wounds.

B-NATURALS use honey from Western Australia’s unique Jarrah tree that has naturally high anti-bacterial activity.

B-NATURALS enhance the healing qualities of pure and natural Jarrah honey by blending it with pharmaceutical grade Australian Sandalwood oil, which has wide-ranging anti-microbial properties. The process used to fuse these two complimentary agents together is quite unique and also ensures that the highest therapeutic properties are maintained.

Independent government tests by the Western Australian Department of Agriculture have proved the healing capacity of “active’ honeys. These tests show that Jarrah honey is up to 50% more potent than other medical honeys including Manuka honey. Having a TA15+ rating B-Naturals “Active plus” Jarrah Honey has naturally higher occurring broad-spectrum anti-bacterial qualities.

The TA rating is one of the test measurements for the activity level of honey.
